Smoozitive Joins WILLA Seed: Preparing For Our Pre-Seed Round

We’re thrilled to share that Smoozitive has been accepted into WILLA SEED, the intensive 10-week program designed to equip women founders with the skills, strategies, and network needed to successfully raise funds.

For those unfamiliar, WILLA, is France’s first gender-mix accelerator in tech. Since 2005, they’ve supported women-led startups through expert mentorship, partner networks, and a vibrant community in the heart of Paris. Their conviction? More women and more diversity equals more creativity, innovation, and value creation.

Why WILLA SEED Matters to Us

Fundraising is a big step for any startup, but for female founders, the path often comes with additional hurdles. The numbers speak for themselves:

• In 2022, only 2% of funds raised in France went to all-female founding teams, compared to 89% for 100% male founding teams (SISTA report).

• In 2024, 39% of women said access to bank financing felt more difficult for them, compared to 25% of men (France Active).

WILLA is working to change that reality, and being part of this mission as a female-founded startup is deeply meaningful to us.

For Smoozitive, this program comes at a pivotal moment. We’re preparing for our first pre-seed round, and WILLA SEED gives us the structure, challenge, and visibility to make that happen.

Inside the Program

From March to May 2025, we’ll be diving into:

• Fundraising Strategy – Building and refining our approach for an effective capital raise.

• Financial Mastery – Challenging our business plan, KPIs, and financial story to resonate with investors.

• Visibility & Investor Readiness – Crafting a compelling pitch, strengthening our presence, and presenting with confidence.

• Legal Insights – Understanding shareholder agreements and organizing our data room for due diligence.

The journey includes expert workshops, 1:1 coaching, and pitch training with seasoned VC professionals, culminating in the WILLA Pitch Party on May 22, 2025, where we’ll present Smoozitive in front of a room full of potential investors.

What This Means for Smoozitive

Joining WILLA SEED isn’t just about learning how to raise funds (although vital for any entrepreneur, and startup on their journey), it’s about strengthening our voice in the global mobility industry. Our mission remains clear: to help companies, HR teams, and expats reduce failed international relocations by addressing the human side of moving abroad.

This program amplifies that mission by giving us the tools, network, and confidence to bring it to more companies and more people worldwide.

As Maayan and Gal often say: Relocation isn’t just a logistical move, it’s a human one.
